The staff were marvellous. Very professional and friendly.
The information provided prior to my hip replacement operation was extremely comprehensive.
The service provided by the SWATT team was very impressive.
Thank you!
I was admitted in the early hours on 06.03.2024 stayed in all day. I asked a nurse a larger lady with glasses short greyish dark hair two sons she informed others if she could tell my daughter what ward I was on she refused.
Another nurse I asked twice for my medication and she did not give me any of my medication. I suffered a heart attack 3 weeks ago having surgery and am diabetic with a stomach issue required 15 tablets a day these were all missed.
My daughter called in the morning to ask if they could provide a disposable toothbrush and toothpaste as a& e did state I was not going to be admitted but then was and I never received anything.
I have a care package and have limited mobility and not one member of staff on that ward asked if I needed help to go to the toilet or needed a shower.
I had no dignity or respect shown to me.
Me and others asked for jugs of water and were told my the lady wearing glasses above wait for the lady to come round this is s basic need.
Extremely good care from both receptionist, Doctor, registrar and student. Position explained fully and options for treatment offered. Agreement on treatment and indicated a further appointment in 4 months time.
My Dad attended A&E twice recently, on Friday 9th and Monday 12th February.
The care Dad received by all staff, from hospital porters to consultants, was outstanding.
They have treated him with care, compassion and professionalism and extended it to me too.
There are too many people to mention but i will be writ8ng a thank you. A few examples are taking the time to try and let him talk, offering food and drink for him, having a joke and finding a quiet place for him to sit while waiting for return transport. That's in addiction to excellent medical care from doctors, nurses and physiotherapists. Spending a long time here has allowed me to obseve that the team work so well together and strive to give every patient the best care.
This is the NHS at its best, thank you.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff for the care they gave to my Mum during a very difficult time recently.I wanted to express my thanks in particular to Helen the Ward Manager for the compassion, care and flexibility she showed towards me on one specific occasion when I visited the ward to see Mum.I will not forget how kind and understanding she was that day .
Great care, communication and information shared. Lovely environment to wait in, in the new children's space. My daughter was comfortable and happy.
I recently had an endoscopy at SWFT. The staff in the endoscopy unit were excellent. They were courteous, considerate and informative at all times. They were excellent at reassuring me throughout the process. A big thank you to the endoscopy unit.
Last time 3 years ago I had a very traumatic experience having this procedure - colonoscopy-
This time the pain control was excellent and the whole procedure explained whilst happening. Credit to the colonoscopies! Thank you. All the staff were lovely.
Attended Minors on Monday evening with a Head injury.
Was treated very promptly and kindly.
I had a very bad headache and was extremely nauseous.
Plenty of reassurance and advice was given as well as some painkillers.
I was with my father in law in A&E on the evening of Tuesday 6th February.
Not one member of staff could be faulted on the kindness and care they showed. They were helpful, patient and kind despite being super busy. I feel very lucky to have an NHS that works so well to support those in need and to have had such kindness from the staff at Warwick.
Staff Nurse Michelle looked after John. She was not only efficient and kind but took the time to listen to and get to know my father in law. This is no mean feat when dealing with an overcrowded department and many complex cases. I really appreciated that Michelle took the time to thoroughly check him over with compassion and kindness
Please do pass my thanks on to the whole department. We know it’s a hard job it is very much appreciated.
